Due to the contingent situation in Libya, Hapag-Lloyd will adjust its War Risk Surcharge (WRS) on all export and import shipments from/to Libyan ports.
The new amount will be:
USD 100/TEU for all trades – effective from July 17, 2019.
“In case of improvement of the situation in Libya, we will consider waiving or mitigation of above mentioned surcharge,” the German shipping company says in its announcement.
