USCG responds to oil spill caused by collision in Texas

The US Coast Guard responded to an oil spill near port Arthur, in Texas, caused from a collision between an offshore supply vessel and a tug vessel, near the entrance to Sabine Pass, Texas.

Specifically, the two vessels involved in the collision were the offshore supply vessel Cheramie Botruc 22 and tug vessel Mariya Moran.

The USCG reports that the collision resulted to about 3,000 gallons of diesel fuel spill.
