Hapag-Lloyd faces congestion in Dar-es-Salaam

Hapag-Lloyd says that due to ongoing congestion, current waiting times for berth at the Tanzania International Container Terminal in Dar-es-Salaam are between 16 to 19 days and these operational delays heavily affect its EAS2 service.

Hapag-Lloyd adds that it is continuously evaluating the situation and taking schedule integrity measures in order to face the challenge an minimize the impact on its customers.
