Newbuild Containership Contacts Quay To Avoid Collision

A newbuild container ship collided with quay at Port of Spain to avoid collision with crane, reports Maritime Bulletin.

Container ship CMA CGM KOUROU suffered engine failure while berthing at Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, at night Oct 24. She had arrived from Philipsburg, St. Maarten, Caribbean. 

The ship collided with quay at Port of Spain on October 24^th as the captain maneuvered to avoid collision with the crane.

According to reports, the ship sustained minor damages....
