Turkey’s Sanmar Shipyards has signed contracts for six vessels, worth over US$33 million, with the Port Qasim Authority (PQA) in Pakistan, including four tugboats and two pilot boats. All six will be delivered in 2022.
Three of the 32m long, LNG compatible tugs will have 75 tonnes of bollard pull (BP) ahead and astern, while the fourth will have an even greater BP of 85 tonnes.
