The world’s biggest container vessel has reached the UK on its maiden voyage. The Ever Ace had been built last year for Evergreen Marine, a shipping company based in Taiwan. On Sunday morning, Ever Ace was docked in Suffolk.
The vessel, whose sister ship Ever Given resulted in mass disruption to global trade when it had run aground and wedged in the Suez Canal in March, weighs about 23,579 tons and is 400m-long and 61.5m in width.
