The German container carrier Hapag Lloyd has announced new freight prices, before the company’s decision to pause any rates increases until 1 February, in Asia, Arabic Gulf and America, effective from 1 October.
Firstly, the Hamburg-based liner operator will apply a Peak Season Surcharge (PSS) from Pakistan to the ports in UAE, Oman, Kuwait, Iraq, Bahrain, Qatar, Dammam and Jubail in Saudi Arabia.
