The Canadian government plans to crack down on the truckers and carriers involved in the protests and blockades that have swept the country.

“Today we are serving notice that we will freeze corporate bank accounts and cancel the insurance of trucks being used in protests that have blocked the countries,” Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland said Monday. “Send your semi-trailers home.”
