The Navy is awarding both General Dynamics Bath Iron Works (BIW), and Huntington Ingalls Industries’ Ingalls Shipbuilding contracts for shipbuilder engineering and design analysis in order to produce design products in support of the DDG(X) Guided Missile Destroyer preliminary design and contract design.
The Navy says the specific contract award amounts are considered source-selection sensitive information and will not be made public at this time.
