Hapag Lloyd has announced it will implement a congestion surcharge (CGD) for containers bound for the port of Mersin in Türkiye.
The surcharge will be US$150 per TEU and US$300 per FEU for dry and reefer containers.
Hapag-Lloyd said the surcharge will be effective from 17 July for containers with the following “geographical scope”:
- From the Middle East & Indian Subcontinent to Mersin
- From the Far East to Mersin
