In the first six months of the year, the overall container volume of major Chinese ports rose 4.8% compared with the same period in 2022, reaching approximately 150 million TEUs.
At the same time, the overall cargo volume of the Chinese ports was around 8.1 billion tonnes in the first half of 2023, translating to a decrease of 8% year-on-year.
