As news of yet another Houthi attack on a merchant vessel emerged today, U.S. Central Command released details of a January 28 incident in which the U.S. Coast Guard Sentinel-class fast-response cutter (FRC) USCGC Clarence Sutphin Jr (WPC 1147), assigned to U.S. Naval Forces Central Command, seized advanced conventional weapons and other lethal aid originating in Iran and bound to Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen from a vessel in the Arabian Sea.
