Leading maritime trade bodies are calling on the UK Government to ensure that publication of the plan for decarbonising the shipping sector is a top priority.
Net Zero targetsAccording to the letter, to meet net zero targets, the maritime sector requires assurance that government support will align with its ambitions. Signatories include – the UK Chamber of Shipping, Cruise Line International, British Ports Association and the UK Major Ports Group as well as other organisations in the sector.
