Colombo Dockyard recently repaired the Singapore-flagged container vessel Lobivia, which had sustained damage after being struck while navigating the Gulf of Aden. After the shipyard despatched a specialised team to inspect the vessel to determine the required epairs, it was possible to demonstrate that work could be completed without drydocking, saving a significant amount of time.
