Cargill to opt for gender diversity

Lloyd’s List reported that an internal document of Cargill, a grains and agricultural trader, ‘the Inclusive and Diverse Speaker Guidelines’ commits the US’ largest privately-owned company to assemble panels and speaker line-ups that are gender diverse.

Barclays, a UK based international bank, published an ‘Energy and Climate Change Statement’ focusing on oil and gas drilling in Arctic. NYK secures green loan for its first methanol-fueled chemical tanker

As part of its commitment to environmental performance, Japanese NYK announced it will receive 2 billion yen from Taiyo Life Insurance Company as a green loan to finance the construction of its first methanol-fueled chemical tanker at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard Co. Ltd.

Methanol is a clean-burning fuel that produces less nitrogen oxides (NOx) and particulate matter (PM), enabling more environment-friendly operation by NYK.
