‘Good news’ from Whitehall generates anger in logistics sector, yet again

Two UK government pledges this week, purportedly in support of logistics, have left the industry both surprised and disappointed.

Rising demand paves the way for new intermodal networks across SE Asia

Increased freight demand across South-east Asia has given rise to a new breed of intermodal networks, driven by cross-border trucking.

Indian government backs drive to get more women into logistics

Indian logistics operators must increase diversity within their workforce if they are to succeed in the future.
The executive director of Awesome, Nancy Nix, told delegates at Fiata’s World Congress in Delhi last week that homogenised workforces were less effective than those more diverse.
