Two container ships collide at Busan Port

The container ship Safmarine Nokwamda collided with the container ship Tianjin, while berthing at Busan Container Terminal, on March 2. Both ships sustained damages, while several containers fell from Tianjin.

The collision took place while the ‘Safmarine Nokwanda’ was berthing at the port. At that time it hit the stern of Tianjin.

US blacklisted Russian freighter stuck in Busan

The Russian freighter ‘Sevastopol’, is stranded in the South Korean port of Busan for over a month. The ships has been blacklisted by the US, as its owner has allegedly violated the sanctions. According to reports, local oil companies are reluctant to supply the ship with fuel.
