Container moves at Port Houston in March climbed 20% year-over-year — and set a monthly record.

Uber Freight, XPO, CN gain spots on FourKites’ Premier Carrier List

Uber Freight, XPO Freight Logistics LTL and Canadian railway CN are among the carriers that have joined the FourKites Premier Carrier List for the third quarter.

The quarterly FourKites Premier Carrier List recognizes carriers that provide best-in-class services to brokers and shippers. To be included on the list, carriers must be assigned at least 300 loads across all FourKites customers and achieve a minimum of “75% tracking consistency,” the company explained.

Puerto Rico terminal joint venture stays the course

The U.S. Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) said an amendment to a joint venture agreement between two marine terminals at the Port of San Juan in Puerto Rico will become effective today.
