Paul Holthus, Founding President & CEO, World Ocean Council

Malta honors its first female master mariners

In a ceremony during Malta Maritime Summit, government representatives gathered with WISTA members to celebrate the first five Maltese female master mariners.

The event was hosted by Malta’s Minister for Transport, Infrastructure and Capital Projects, Ian Borg, and Minister for European Affairs and Equality, Helena Dalli, at the Excelsior Hotel in Floriana.
