There’s quite nothing like a landlocked country wanting a maritime presence. Splash247 today reports that the Nepalese government this week opened the Nepal Ship Office, with the lofty ambition for ships to be sailing the world flying its uniquely shaped flag. “[Prime Minister Khagda Prasad Sharma] Oli aims to buy ships for riverine trade through the mountainous country for onward shipment through Indian ports, likely by rail connections,” it reports.
