USCG recently gave its regulatory approval and design basis acceptance to the Quality Liquefied Natural Gas Transport (Q-LNG), for its two variants construction. Gaining this approval, the marine transportation company will have the ability to move forward with its construction plans.
In fact, the designs each for a 5.400-cbm and 8.000-cbm articulated tug/barge (ATB), are both of the 4.000 cbm ATB design which are under construction at VT Halter in Pascagoula, Mississippi.
