The Baltic Marine Environment Protection Commission, also known as the Helsinki Commission (HELCOM) recently joined Europe’s EMERGE project, which aims to reduce shipping emissions around the European marine waters.
For the records, HELCOM is one of the 18 participants which attended the project’s kick-off meeting in Laxenburg near Vienna, Austria during 24-26 February 2020.
