DNV GL Completes World’s First In-water Remote Ship Surveys

DNV GL has completed a series of ship surveys using remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) carried out on three Wilson-managed vessels.
The surveys are claimed to be the world’s first in-water remote ship surveys.
The first such survey was completed on the general cargo vessel Wilson Fedje in December 2019.
The latest in-water survey was performed earlier in July on another Wilson-managed vessel in Bergen, Norway.
