LA/LB ports to test expanded night, weekend hours

Facing an unprecedented shipping crisis, ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach on Friday announced their intent to extend operating hours at truck gates in an effort to reduce a massive backlog of containers gumming up retail, manufacturing and agricultural supply chains.
