The Marine Safety Centre launched a Technical note 1-19 on ‘Guidance on the Carriage of Greater Than 36 Offshore Workers on Offshore Supply Vessels of Less Than 6,000 GT ITC’ to provide owners and operators of the OSVs with guidance when requesting to carry more than 36 offshore workers.
Firstly, these guidelines apply to all requests for the carriage of more than 36 offshore workers aboard OSVs measuring less than 6000 GT ITC.
